LANCE MILTON

Calgary’s own Lance Milton came from humble beginnings, raised by a hard-working single mother. In his youth, Lance stayed out of trouble by focusing on sports. He left Calgary for a time to play professional football and attend University, since his return to Calgary in 2014 Lance has continued to dedicate his life and career to athletic training and fitness.

Lance graduated high school from Bishop Mcnally in 2005 and went to UBC (University of British Columbia) on a full athletic scholarship. At UBC,  Lance was one of  the top players and defensive backs. After playing college football for UBC from 2008 – 2011, Lance was drafted into the CFL to play for the Montreal Alouettes in 2012. In 2013, he then played for the Toronto Argonauts. After his year with the Argonauts, Lance returned to Calgary and opened Athletic Edge.

Lance’s vision for Athletic Edge is to take Canadian athletes to the next level. He aims to train and support local youth as they grow in their athletic abilities. Athletic Edge aims to empower youth and build their confidence and commitment in their athletic interests.

IAN CANTELO

Ian is also an accomplished strength, conditioning and skill development trainer.  As a retired Canadian armed forces member, Ian believes that accountability and discipline are keys to success.  His commitment to development and success is rooted in the belief that there are no short-cuts or substitutes for the necessary hard work.
